Indian Space Research Organization Chooses Vox Spectrum Voice Logger as Integral Part of Launch Program India's premier scientific agency continues to put its faith in Vox Spectrum technology Vox Spectrum Pvt. Ltd., Chennai, India, April 09, 2004 The Indian Space Research Organisation, one of only six satellite launching agencies in the world, has again chosen Vox Spectrum, a leading player worldwide in voice logging and recording systems. ISRO said on March 31 that it has placed orders for additional DGVOX Voice Loggers with Vox Spectrum Pvt. Ltd., Chennai. ISRO will be deploying these new 16 channel DGVOX Voice Loggers at its centers at Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh and Hassan in Karnataka. The new orders follow ISRO's satisfaction with the DGVOX Logger successfully installed at Sriharikota in 2003. The additional system at Sriharikota will augment existing logging capacity. ISRO uses DGVOX Loggers to record and monitor the pre-launch communications. A key feature of the ISRO installation is the time-synchronization feature that was added to the DGVOX software, requiring the logger to be time-synchronized with the other systems at the location, enabling them to playback synchronized recordings of audio files with the countdown using DGVOX. This will play a key role in any complete analysis that ISRO conducts of its exercises.
